In the past, if you distributed a password protected PDF file, you had to give your customer a USER password to open the file. Experience has proven PDF hackers have little trouble getting these passwords and gaining access to your PDF files. Even expensive "on-line" DRM systems are not considered secure because they only offer distribution security not PDF content security.
Once PDF hackers have access to a USER password they can easily
UN-encrypt the PDF file and disable both the USER password, the OWNER password and all security restrictions such as copying, editing or printing.

Q) Does HYPrLock provide effective security for digital downloads?

Your passwords are stored securely inside your Activ E-Book. The payment link must return to the eBook where it started before a password is generated. Hackers linking to your web site only hit a dead end.
