GoldPanner Software is a small independent software company located in “Super Natural” British Columbia, Canada.  Ron Lemire, the chief developer and head programmer of GoldPanner Software, has devoted years of time and effort to perfecting the HYPrLock Security System. As a budding eBook author, Ron was  discouraged at the lack of security options available for small, independent online authors.  So, like any true computer nut (working in his garage :-), Ron decided to build a “better mouse trap”.  A security system that both large and small publishers could use -- to protect their intellectual property on the dangerous World Wide Web. The name and logo “GoldPanner” refers to the fact the Ron is a “hobby” prospector and has “panned” for gold in many creeks and rivers in central British Columbia. While never “striking it rich” -- he’s spent many a weekend stooped over a gold pan picking up tiny flecks of gold dust.
